Adopt-A-Library
SDAA volunteers make arrangements with area and school libraries to set up an educational display on any one of a number of animal topics, such as vegetarianism, living with wildlife, care of companion animals, etc.
Each volunteer can create the display using his or her own creative ideas, using a number of animal rights books, videos and DVD’s in the exhibit. SDAA donates copies of these same materials to the library so that they are available to patrons during and after the display.

We have found that displays geared to children are especially well-received, and we have many excellent books which inspire youngsters to care about animals and the environment. We often include stuffed animals and educational toys in the children's display.
Pleae contact us if you would like to arrange a display in your own community or school library. It's an easy and fun way to help spread the word about animal issues.
